_{This paddle steamer has a side wheel making it distinctly Australian and takes us back to the good old days of the paddle steamers along the Murray River and is now an Australian icon of the Mighty Murray. The boat was built during the early ’80s in the local area and harked back to the 19th-century paddle steamers and sits perfectly at home at the world heritage Port of Echuca Moama located in northern Victoria. The PS Emmylou is 30 metres long and 10 metres wide, with a steel hull and a beautiful timber deck. It has since undergone a specially designed luxury upgrade and a completely new fit-out. The new modern cabins are ideal for a night cruise. All places offer en-suites, including the best linens topped with silky duvets, and there is also a premier cabin, the Emmylou Suite, located on the front Upper Deck. This suite features French Doors opening to a deck and 180-degree views of the river.
