The Murray River in South Australia offers landscapes like no other river. Onboard P.S. Murray Princess your
next three days will be spent cruising past dramatic golden sandstone cliffs, watching Australian Native animals
at play including Kangaroos and prolific bird life plus you will come away with an education on this area,
which helped shape the early days of Australia. As one of only a small number onboard P.S. Murray Princess you will
get to see this ecological waterway up close and in relaxed comfort as a true passenger on a small luxury Paddle Steamer should.
P.S. Murray Princess departs Mannum Friday 4.30pm. Those who are self driving can board from 2.30pm after receiving free locked up car parking in Mannum and for those taking the free coach from the Adelaide CBD your departure time will be 2.00pm from the Mercure Grosvenor Hotel at 125 North Terrace, Adelaide.
P.S. Murray Princess returns to Mannum Monday 9.00am. Those returning to Adelaide via the free coach will be dropped back at the Mercure Grosvenor Hotel between 12 noon - 12.30pm and the same coach will do a second drop off at the Adelaide Airport at 1.00pm.
If you take the optional Barossa Valley tour after your cruise, then you will be dropped back at the Mercure Grosvenor Hotel at 5.30pm and the Adelaide Airport at 6.00pm.

Mid afternoon the famous Murray River paddlesteamer, P.S. Murray Princess departs historic Mannum,
birthplace of the Murray River trade and communication, and heads upriver while you enjoy pre-dinner drinks and a Welcome Dinner.
Sit back and enjoy your Murray River Cruise as your boat cruises under floodlight to your overnight mooring at Mundarra.
From the paddle steamer you may see nocturnal wildlife on the Murray River bank, watch for grey kangaroos, hair-nosed wombats,
Murray River longnecked tortoises and spoon-beaked echidnas. Your resident on-board entertainer provides music for those
who enjoy the times of Murray River boat cruises.
In 1879 the first bridge to span the Murray River was built at Edwards Crossing, which quickly became the
bustling township of Murray Bridge. After a hearty breakfast, join a guided tour of the town's historic landmarks and
local attractions. This afternoon you will begin your journey upriver. Tonight the boat will moor at Craignook, where after dinner you
can enjoy being entertained your talented crew.
All ashore for the guided nature walk where your guide will share the secrets of the local flora and fauna.
It's a great way to get in a little exercise before Murray Princess departs for the big river gorges and 90 metres cliffs of
the upper river. Mid morning join everyone in the Sturt Dining room for a special presentation on the bounty of food and wine
produced in the riverland's. At the 205km mark the Princess will turn and head down river to River View Lodge where your
discovery vessel awaits for a backwater wildlife tour. Traveling in small, personalised groups, you will explore the maze of
the river and the bird life is amazing. Watch for darters, herons and egrets feeding along the river's muddy edges.
During the afternoon also join the bocce or fishing challenge. This evening join the Captain and Officers for pre dinner
drinks and the finale Captain's Dinner and Dance.
After breakfast P.S. Murray Princess arrives at Mannum on the Murray River where reluctantly the Cruise staff and new friends farewells each other.

The tour includes three premium wineries, lunch and free time in Tanunda before returning to Adelaide at 5.30pm.
Optional Monarto Open Range Zoo (additional cost $60 per person)
One of the largest open-range zoos in the world & home to more than 50 species of exotic & native mammals, birds & reptiles. Your 2 hour guided tour will show you many of the zoos inhabitants including Giraffe, Eland, Zebra, White Rhinoceros, Cheetah, Lions, Hyena and Wild Dogs.
Getting To Your Departure Point
A complimentary return coach picks up at the Mercure Grosvenor Hotel, 125 North Terrace, Adelaide at 2.00pm and on your return you are dropped off at between 12 noon - 12.30pm and the same coach will do a second drop off at the Adelaide Airport at 1.00pm.
